Is Questomatica suitable for children?

Yes — both rooms are designed for players from age 8 upwards when accompanied by a parent. Neither room contains horror, jump scares, or frightening content. How is Questomatica different from other escape rooms in Amsterdam?

Accepted Answer

Questomatica uses sensors and physical mechanics instead of number locks or combination padlocks. No digit codes, no keys. Every puzzle is interactive — you respond to the room and the room responds to you.

What languages are the rooms available in?

Accepted Answer

The game master briefs your group in your chosen language before you enter. Available in Dutch, English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Catalan, and Swedish.

How many people can play at Questomatica?

Accepted Answer

Each room takes 2 to 6 players. For groups of 7 to 12, both rooms can be booked at the same time — two teams play simultaneously and compare results afterwards.

Where is Questomatica located in Amsterdam?

Questomatica is at Foeliestraat 16, Amsterdam — 10 to 15 minutes walk from Amsterdam Centraal station, next to NEMO Science Museum. The closest metro stop is Waterlooplein. Open daily from 10:00 to 22:00.
